Get your free Regrind Box.
Tell us where to send it. The box lives on your shop floor, fills with dull tools of any brand, and ships back prepaid. You give the go-ahead, the clock starts: sharp tools back within 14 business days.
What happens after you hit send
A box on your shelf that turns scrap back into tools.
The whole program, in four steps. No paperwork project: the box fills itself, and your preferences live on one card we keep on file.
The box shows up
A rugged Regrind Box, free. It's ours, you just keep it working. It lives wherever dull tools pile up. Any brand goes in, no sorting.
Fill it & send it
When it's full, ship it prepaid, or on a monthly schedule if you'd rather never think about it.
We inspect & grind
Every tool ground to your Grind Card: specs you set once, kept on file. Restored to original geometry, recoated by Oerlikon Balzers.
Back in a labeled tube
Each tool returns in a fresh tube with a measured label, so any operator can read it off the crib shelf, no mic, no mystery.

The scrap policy, whole and entire
Every tool you send comes back to you (sharpened if it could be, unground if it couldn't), and you're only ever invoiced for the tools we actually ground.
Standard rates in writing, on the internet
Know the price before the box leaves your dock.
Seven flat rates cover standard solid carbide end mills, priced by diameter and nothing else. The price you read is the price you're invoiced, tool after tool, box after box.
One price per diameter, all in. Cut-off of damaged ends, square, radius or ball, flute count: none of it changes the number.
Carbide drills: six flat rates, $15.00–$30.75. Standard points (split, 4-facet, 135°, 118°) reground to spec.
Recoating: a flat chart by diameter and length, right on the pricing page. Alcrona EVO or TISAFLEX by Oerlikon Balzers, one price either way.
Published rates cover standard tools; they're the ceiling, not a teaser. Something unusual in the box? We quote it before we grind it.
While the box is filling
Got a tool nobody stocks? We make those, too.
Regrinding is how most shops meet us. Making the tool no catalog carries is what we've done in Wichita since 1966. Send a print, a sketch, or the worn-out tool you've been babying. A grinder reads it, not a sales portal.
No minimums
One tool is a real order. If it works, buy more. If it needs a tweak, we're the ones holding the grinder.
Your tool, on file
Run the same special every month? Your geometry lives in our system. Reordering is a PO number, not a project.
Regrind price, up front
Every custom we quote includes its regrind price, on the original quote, so you know cost-per-life before you buy.
Your scrap bin is full of money.
A $241 end mill regrinds, sharpened and recoated, for $54. Most tools have three to five regrinds in them.
Worst case, a few tools come back unground, and you don't pay a dime for those. Best case, you stop buying the same carbide twice.
